Raphael Brandstäter
Raphael Brandstäter was born in Bielefeld and grew up in Halle an der Saale. He attended a music high school and took lessons in violin, piano, composition, and conducting. After graduating from high school, he began studying philosophy and Romance languages in Jena. Since 2020, he has been studying at the Lübeck University of Music, initially in Dieter Mack’s composition class, later with Katharina Rosenberger, as well as music theory and aural training with Sascha Lino Lemke and Luis Ramos Regino. His works have been performed by the Staatskapelle Halle, Trio Catch, and Trio Ludique et Serieux, among others.
