Step right into our enchanted children’s room! Between magic, imagination, and reality, a world unfolds in which everyday objects come to life, while newly composed works carry Ravel’s poetic universe forward from contemporary perspectives.
In 1925, almost exactly 100 years ago, Maurice Ravel’s legendary short opera L’enfant et les sortilèges (The Child and the Spells) premiered. With RAVELations, Hamburg’s Non-Piano Ensemble presents an innovative concert program inspired by Ravel’s timeless original concept.
