Pianist Sumi Lee was born in 1969 in South Korea and completed her bachelor’s and master’s degree in piano performance at Yonsei University. Shortly after, she earned a professional studies certificate from the Boston Conservatory.

She is a core member of the Toy Piano Festival in Seoul, and also serves as a percussionist, for example in the children’s opera “The Sound Witch’s Secret Box” and the Karos Percussion Ensemble.
