Meredith Nicoll

Meredith Nicoll specializes in artsong and alternative concert performance, combining genres of classical voice, modern performance, cabaret and broadway to create a unique concert experience. After singing roles at the Leipzig Opera and the Schloß Rheinsberg Opera Festival, she made her Hamburg Laeiszhalle debut in the one-woman show Bachs Faust with the Hamburg Symphony. She is the winner of the 2016 Elisa Meyer Vocal Competition and the Masefield Competition for Innovative Concert Formats. Meredith is currently a research fellow in musicology and performance at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg and performs regularly with renowned ensembles for contemporary music such as SolistenEnsemble Phønix16 Berlin and Ambitus Extended in Vienna.
